The Secret To Getting What You Want


I love the point you make about our bodies responding to our thoughts. I also believe we can create a physical response just by what we are thinking (this is why stressful thoughts and worry are so toxic to our bodies). One of my favorite tools I use with my clients (and myself!) is having them create a positive feeling thought and inviting them to really dwell on that thought, noticing how it makes their body feel. Typically, physical relaxation, an open feeling in the chest or another pleasant feeling floods the individual’s body (each person feels it differently). It’s a powerful exercise that makes the individual practicing it feel filled-up (feel abundant) and helps them hold a positive energy with them throughout the day. With regular practice (as little as a few minutes each day), it ultimately draws positive circumstances, people and things into their life as well.
